Top 10 de Oscar Tunjo en el Campeonato Europeo Le Mans Cup en Silverstone
El piloto colombiano Oscar Tunjo finalizó en el Top 10 del Campeonato Europeo Michelin Le Mans Cup en el mítico circuito de Silverstone, Inglaterra, compitiendo junto a su equipo Gebhardt Motorsport y su compañero, el joven piloto alemán Valentino Catalano, encargado de la clasificación y de tomar la partida de la competencia.
Tunjo recibió el auto en la posición 12 a mitad de carrera, desde donde comenzó una sólida remontada en la exigente categoría LMP3, marcada por el alto nivel competitivo. Tras dos horas de intensa batalla en pista, el colombiano cruzó la meta en la décima posición entre los 41autos de carrera inscritos.
“Fue un fin de semana difícil, el equipo trabajó muy duro para competir en Silverstone, pero no tuvimos la velocidad suficiente para estar más adelante. Aun así, dimos todo para mantener el auto en pista y recuperar posiciones durante la carrera”, expresó Oscar Tunjo al finalizar la prueba.
El próximo reto para el automovilista colombiano será en Estados Unidos, donde disputará el Campeonato IMSA VP Challenge en el circuito de Road Atlanta los días 9, 10 y 11 de octubre de 2025.
